Course Overview:

This qualification is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to
a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Manage projects and solve complex problems with a Certificate IV in Business. This course will teach students to use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to solve unpredictable problems and analyse information from a wide variety of sources.

Students will learn to implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs, coordinate business resources, and undertake project work.

Elective units provide the choice to learn other skills including developing and using complex text documents and spreadsheets, making presentations, and reporting on financial activity.

This course has a minimum of 15 supervised scheduled face to face course contact hours on campus per week as well as 5 distance / online education hours per week. This comes to a total of 20 hours per week. Students are also required to undertake reading, activities, research, assessments and homework.

  • Minimum 18 years of age (international students)
