This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of junior administrative positions who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context. Individuals in these roles generally work under direct supervision.
Prepare for junior administrative positions and further training with a Certificate II in Business. This qualification will teach many skills and routine tasks performed in business administration.
Students will learn to contribute to the health and safety of themselves and others, deliver service to customers, work effectively in a business environment, and communicate effectively in the workplace.
Elective units provide choices in the development of other skills including contributing to workplace innovation, creating and using spreadsheets, and using digital technologies to communicate remotely and process financial transactions.
This course has a minimum of 15 supervised scheduled face to face course contact hours on campus per week as well as 5 distance / online education hours per week. This comes to a total of 20 hours per week. Students are also required to undertake reading, activities, research, assessments and homework.
