Start your path to a career in business with a Certificate I in Business. This qualification will teach and develop basic skills and knowledge to prepare you for work.
Students will learn to contribute to the health and safety of yourself and others, work effectively in a business environment, and plan skills development.
Elective units will allow a choice in the development of other skills including the use of business equipment and resources, production of digital text documents, and the creation and use of spreadsheets.
This entry-level qualification allows individuals across a variety of industry sectors to develop basic skills and knowledge to prepare for work. They may undertake a range of simple tasks under close supervision. The range of technical skills and knowledge is limited.
This course has a minimum of 15 supervised scheduled face to face course contact hours on campus per week as well as 5 distance / online education hours per week. This comes to a total of 20 hours per week. Students are also required to undertake reading, activities, research, assessments and homework.

- Completion of Year 12 / High School overseas or AustralianYear 11 or equivalent
- IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
