Course outcomes

With the ability to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Australian legislation, you’ll be able to take on a variety of entry-level management and supervisory roles across the early childhood education sector including as a Childhood Education Manager and Outside School Hours Coordinator.

Hands-on learning

To ensure you’re prepared to take on the increased responsibilities of supervising early childhood learning environments, this qualification has been designed with an ideal balance of both theory and practical learning. Students completing this qualification are required to undertake a minimum of 240 hours vocational placement in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.

Funding options

The Higher Level Skills Program provides a government subsidy to support eligible individuals to access training in selected certificate IV level and above qualification. Among other eligibility criteria, students must not hold a Certificate IV or higher level qualification and must be an existing employee in the Early Childhood Education and Care Industry. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for the full cost of your qualification or take advantage of our flexible interest free payment plans.
